Power Turkey Salad
Makes: 2 Salads
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups pre-cooked Sahlen’s® Pulled Turkey Breast.
- 3 Cups kale, chopped and stems removed.
- 1 Cup red cabbage, thinly sliced.
- ½ Cup chopped carrots.
- ½ Cup radicchio, thinly sliced.
- ¼ Cup sunflower seeds.
- ¼ Cup dried cranberries.
- ¼ Cup vinaigrette dressing (store-bought or homemade).
Directions:
- Prepare the salad base: Add the kale to a large bowl.
- Add vegetables: In the same bowl, add the thinly sliced red cabbage, chopped carrots, and radicchio. Toss the ingredients together.
- Add the turkey: Layer Sahlen’s® Pulled Turkey Breast on top of the salad base.
- Add toppings: Sprinkle the sunflower seeds and dried cranberries evenly over the salad.
- Dress the salad: Drizzle the vinaigrette dressing over the salad and toss everything together until well coated.
- Serve: Plate the salad immediately for a fresh, crunchy meal or let it sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
