Power Turkey Salad

Makes: 2 Salads

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups pre-cooked Sahlen’s® Pulled Turkey Breast.
  • 3 Cups kale, chopped and stems removed.
  • 1 Cup red cabbage, thinly sliced.
  • ½ Cup chopped carrots.
  • ½ Cup radicchio, thinly sliced.
  • ¼ Cup sunflower seeds.
  • ¼ Cup dried cranberries.
  • ¼ Cup vinaigrette dressing (store-bought or homemade).

Directions:

  1. Prepare the salad base: Add the kale to a large bowl.
  2. Add vegetables:  In the same bowl, add the thinly sliced red cabbage, chopped carrots, and radicchio. Toss the ingredients together.
  3. Add the turkey: Layer Sahlen’s® Pulled Turkey Breast on top of the salad base.
  4. Add toppings: Sprinkle the sunflower seeds and dried cranberries evenly over the salad.
  5. Dress the salad: Drizzle the vinaigrette dressing over the salad and toss everything together until well coated.
  6. Serve: Plate the salad immediately for a fresh, crunchy meal or let it sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
