Buffalo Chicken Salad
Makes: 2 Salads
Ingredients:
- 2 cups pre-cooked Sahlen’s® Pulled Buffalo Chicken Breast
- 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- ½ cup shredded carrots
- ¼ cup crumbly blue cheese
- ¼ cup creamy blue cheese dressing (we love Rootie’s Blue Cheese)
- Buffalo Sauce (optional drizzle, we love Frank’s Red Hot)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Prepare the salad base: In a large salad bowl, add the chopped romaine lettuce and shredded carrots. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Assemble the salad: Top the romaine and carrot mixture with the Sahlen’s® Pulled Buffalo Chicken Breast. Sprinkle the crumbly blue cheese evenly over the salad.
- Add dressing (optional): Drizzle blue cheese dressing and buffalo sauce (optional) over the top.
- Serve: Toss the salad lightly if desired or serve as is for a layered look.
